Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Friend!

I spent the first half of the day on the couch nursing a sinus infection, watching Adele on Jimmy Fallon…pretty much the best Classroom Instruments segment ever!!! Then I spent the evening in the kitchen…getting ready to host our (in-town & out-of-town) family in our home tomorrow. I adore cooking for my family and can’t wait to host everyone!

I spent some time in the kitchen tonight working on 2 pies, cooking sausage for cornbread stuffing and making homemade Cranberry-Orange sauce. I also made 2 big pans of these Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls to enjoy while we watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade!

I filmed a short “live video” on Periscope (follow me on Periscope here, or search @5dollardinners in the app!) and you can “katch” it here:

There’s much to be grateful for…in the little things and in the big things!

I am overflowing with grateful for you, and the opportunity to help you and teach you how to be a better home chef and smarter grocery shopper! It is my joy and my passion and I count you as a blessing on a daily basis!

Happy Thanksgiving!
