No table is complete without a beautifully topped pie. The classic lattice topping is a lot easier than you think. After you’ve rolled out the dough simply cut six long strips that are 1-inch wide. After that it’s simply a matter of laying, folding, and more laying. Simple, beautiful, and delicious.
We added our lattice topping to our Cranberry-Raspbery Pie which lets those bright colors really pop. In the oven for 55 minutes and your pie will shine. If it’s browning too quickly, feel free to cover the pie in aluminum foil.
