The Perfect Playlist for Your Toughest Abs Workouts

You know how hard it can feel to balance on one leg sometimes? Imagine a workout class where you're doing variations on that the entire time. That's basically the concept behind BARE, a new class from Crunch Gym. "What makes BARE unique from any other barefoot workout is that we creatively integrate a single-leg balance into every single exercise," says Emily Splichal, a podiatrist and the creator of the class. "With single-leg exercises as the most effective way for strengthening the core and glutes, this challenging workout leaves members feeling strong, flexible, aligned, and confident. Or simply stated, this is one tough core- and glute-training workout!"

Splichal likes to use the music to "inspire movement" when she teaches BARE classes. "There must be an intro, a slow build to your peak, and then a gradual return to the cool down," she says. Here's the mix from a recent class:
